English being the largest language in the world by number of speakers, as native or as second language, holds an important place in how the world communicates. Through its 1400 years of history, many works of literary importance and historic importance was written in English and is being produced in English.

Literature connects us with the past, the present, different cultures, ideas of an individual and ideology of a society through time. Literature is mirror of life in times and enables who pursue it to draw parallels for an enriched life. A study in Literature is thus very important to today’s world as it was to the past.

A Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Literature from us, a three year undergraduate program will take you through the basics of the language, communicating using the language, critically studying works of literary of importance, creating content in various forms that is needed in today’s world.

B.A. English Literature (3-years)
To receive a B.A. degree with a Major in English Literature students must accumulate 140 credit points at the end of three years. The course divisions and credit point requirement within three years for a Major in English Literature are as follows:
