Globally as of 2018 the size of clothing, apparel and fashion market stood at USD748.4 billion. India’s share in that market is significant as the 2^nd largest exporter of textile goods in the world. Government of India actively promotes export of textile goods and has lofty plans for the future. B.Sc. (Costume Design & Fashion) is a three-year Undergraduate degree program that helps the student to develop an understanding of the fashion environment and trains them to develop a range of fashion products for a targeted market segment. It also includes latest trends, cultural dynamics, and innovations in the Indian and International fashion industry. B.Sc. Costume Design and Fashion (3 years)

Some of the Major areas that will be covered by this program are Fashion illustration, Garment Construction, Fashion Designing, Fibre and Yarn Science, Dyeing and Printing, Fabric Structure and Design, Computer Aided Design, Portfolio Development, Apparel Marketing and Merchandising, hand on learning experience through training and project etc.,

To receive a B.Sc. degree with a Major in Costume design and Fashion students must accumulate 140 credit points at the end of three years. The course divisions and credit point requirement within three years for a major in costume design and fashion are as follows:
